It can’t be this bad. Biden is babbling, Trump is trash-talking, and the media morons have drilled to a depth of stupid that screams Armageddon. And to top it all off, the Kansas City Chiefs won the Lombardi trophy at the Kelce-Swift Bowl on January 11th. Wow! I can’t wait to see where this election is headed.
Actually, I think I know where it’s going. I wrote a prequel blog post in 2022: Remember, Remember the 8th of November 2022 (read this last, it’s a little longer than my usual posts). I promise my blog posts this year will be equally biting.
For instance, let’s look at the GOP. As a registered Republican, I was hopeful I might see some improvement in the choice of candidates for the Executive Office over the 2020 loser. But the MAGA Morons have built a MAGA Media Network which makes more noise than the network run by the Liberal Looneys of the Democratic Party. It’s a real Forrest Gump moment: “stupid is as stupid does”. Perhaps Trump will join Gump on a ‘shrimping expedition’. I mean, You Can’t Fix Stupid (I’ll bet Donald Trump inspired Ron White’s routine).
Of course, the Donald (Duck?) has provided the appropriate vote for President on November 5th. Just as Nevada set up Nikki Haley to run against “none of these candidates”, if the choices are Biden and Trump, I’ll write in ‘None of the above’. (Third party candidates lack sufficient critical mass to move the mounds of manure currently occupying the nation’s capital.)
With that said, I’ll let you take some time to reflect on my sequel post from 2022.
