Posted by This post is an attempt to summarize the words and actions of the Trump Administration as I have observed them. This is not an endorsement of anything that has been said or done.
I will begin by listing ten points which appear to capture the essence of the MAGA movement. The points are a rewrite of an existing program, updated to capture today’s realities.
The points are taken from The Programme of the NSDAP, National Socialist German Worker’s Party, and its General Conceptions, by Gottfried Feder, translated by E.T.S. Dugdale. This document is posted at the website of the American Nazi Party.
Note: My interest in the Nazis and Adolf Hitler began many years ago when I purchased The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William L Shirer. I was driven by one question: How could the Germans embrace Adolf Hitler as a leader (i.e. Fuhrer)? I read the first seven chapters of the book three times. Although a major cause was the Versailles Treaty after World War I and the economic hardship it imposed on the Germans, there was more. National pride was a major factor. It provided the opportunity for Hitler to establish a populist propaganda program to fire the emotions of the population.
Donald Trump has recreated that program in the United States.
The MAGA Program
1. We demand the union of all MAGA Americans to form a great MAGA Society on the basis of the right of self-determination enjoyed by autocratic nations.
2. We demand equality of rights for the MAGA Society in its dealings with other nations, and abolition of the United Nations and all international organizations which discriminate against MAGA.
3. We demand land and territory for protecting our national security and for deporting immigrants who are not MAGA worthy.
4. None but members of MAGA nation may be citizens of this State and members of this nation. No Democrat or RINO may be citizens of this nation.
5. Anyone who is not a citizen of this MAGA nation may live in America only as a guest and is subject to the laws of foreigners as defined by Homeland Security.
6. The right of voting on the State’s government and legislation is restricted to MAGA citizens only. We demand therefore that all official appointments at federal, state, and local levels be granted to MAGA citizens of the State only.
We oppose the corrupting custom of filling posts with a view to party considerations and without reference to MAGA character and loyalty.
7. We demand that the State shall make it its first duty to promote the industry and livelihood of the citizens of the State. It is not possible to nourish the entire population of the State; foreign nationals (non-citizens of the State, including Democrats and RINOs) must be excluded from this MAGA nation.
8. All non-MAGA immigration must be prevented. We demand that all non-MAGAs, who entered this nation subsequent to January 20th, 2017, shall be required forthwith to depart from this nation.
9. All MAGA citizens of the State shall be equal as regards rights and duties.
10. It must be the first duty of each citizen of the State to work with his mind and his body. The activities of the individual may not clash with the interests of the whole, but must proceed within the frame of the [MAGA] community and be for the general good [of MAGA].
If you doubt the truth of these ten points with respect to MAGA, and Donald Trump, reflect on his National Security Strategy and on every executive order issued since January 20, 2025. Unless you’re an ostrich, and have your head buried in the sand, the veracity of these ten points is clear. I’ll expand on this in my next post.
Take some time to read the NSDAP Programme above. There are actually 25 points which need to be read and reflected on. I’ll offer thoughts on some of them in my next post.
