Many of the socialist specific points are not applicable. However point 23 is extremely appropriate to the MAGA program. (I will italicize this quoted text and comment on it in this font).
23. We demand legal warfare against conscious political lying and its dissemination in the Press. In order to facilitate creation of a German national press, we demand:
(a) that all editors and assistants, employing the German language, be members of the nation.
Stop the presses! Literally! If you’re not MAGA friendly you have no right to publish anything. Let’s see if this is a political lie (will I be censored, arrested, or shot).
1) Reporters at the Pentagon were required to sign a statement that effectively forced Pentagon reviewers to clear their reports before they could be printed. That seems like state control of the press.
2) Voice of America (VOA) has effectively been shut down because Donald Trump claims VOA is a propaganda machine [The Voice of Radical America, The White House, March 15, 2025] The following bullet from this White House article says it all.
“Multiple Voice of America (VOA) reporters have repeatedly posted anti-Trump comments on their professional Twitter accounts, despite a social media policy requiring employee impartiality on social media platforms.”
Really?! I marvel at the impartiality of the President on Truth Social [We will, however, guard, and very powerfully so, any and all Federal Buildings that are being attacked by these highly paid Lunatics, Agitators, and Insurrectionists. Donald Trump] And he posts this as an official statement by the Executive of the United States. Trump’s immunity from “social media policy requiring employee impartiality on social media platforms” is based on what? Maybe the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court should weigh in on this?

Points 23 b and 23 c don’t really apply (yet), but the closing paragraph of 23 appears to be MAGA policy.
It must be forbidden to publish papers which do not conduce to the national welfare. We demand legal prosecution of all tendencies in art and literature of a kind likely to disintegrate our life as a nation, and the suppression of institutions which militate against the requirements of the above-mentioned.
Take a minute to reflect on this statement before I comment on it. What has Trump said and done with respect to art and literature during Trump 47? Is it really tied to our life as a nation or to Trump’s legacy as MAGA’s Fuehrer?
I’ll limit my comment on this to one point: The Kennedy Center. If you’re not familiar with the details of Trump’s effort to control the arts, research it. Ironically, as I type this, Donald Trump will shut down the Kennedy Center on July 4th this year for a two-year renovation project. He will probably rebuild it as another Trump legacy structure like the White House ballroom and the “Arch de Trump” on the Capitol. Think of Trump’s capital renovations as a version of Hitler’s Welthauptstadt Germania (World Capital Germania). Let’s call it World Capital MAGA. (The false modesty of the megalomaniac prohibits calling it World Capital Trump.)
I will continue to keep these outbursts fairly short. However, as a lead-in to the next post, consider the following passage from Point 25.
