A recent MEMORANDUM FOR THE HEADS OF EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES from the Director of the Office of Management and Budget states
It has come to the President’s attention that Executive Branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date “training” government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda.
Specifically, based on press reports, federal employees are
required to attend trainings where they are told that “virtually all White people contribute to racism” or where they are required to say that they “benefit from racism.”
The official position,
… we cannot accept our employees receiving training that seeks to undercut our core values as Americans and drive division within our workforce.,
is a reasonable defense of our national heritage.
California Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum
California’s current version of this radical curriculum contains the following text
…engaging in civic action, community service and/or community education to bring positive change that helps build a future society free of racism and other forms of bigotry associated with white supremacy, white nationalism, and institutional racism [Footnote 13]
[13] Institutional racism: the systemic normalization or legalization of racism and discrimination. This often emerges via the unequal and inequitable distribution of resources, power, and opportunity. Institutional racism is also referred to as systemic and/or structural racism. [Chapter 3 Instructional Guidance for K–12 Education lines 717-719]
Clearly this indoctrination objective is designed to undermine every part of the American political and economic system via “civic action”.
I have offered my views on this “curriculum” in a number of posts. I encourage the reader to reflect on Classrooms and Covert Activist Training, California Ethnic Studies: Education or Agitation, and the 2019 post Ethnic Studies or Ethnic Cleansing?. Since September is the public review month for this latest version, I will be submitting more comments to the California Department of Education and posting more views on this site.
Clearly, this agenda is unAmerican. It needs to be stopped.
Federal funds that support California education (K-16) must be withheld. California has passed legislation, and is considering new legislation, to make this ‘critical race theory’-based ethnic studies curriculum a graduation requirement. Children and young adults exposed to this one-sided view of America will never see the beauty of our way of life. They will be conditioned to approach life as victims who can never be happy unless everyone rejects the past as intrinsically evil. Our past, with all its flaws, actually reflects the intrinsic good of our humanity.
Read, reflect, and write. Get involved in this fight to defend Truth, Justice, and the American Way. It is a good Way and it is worth living for.
As always, in the words of Edward R. Murrow “Good night and good luck.”
